About Shannon
I am a 33-year-old with a passion for frontend web development and web design. I started making my first websites around 14 years old as a competition with a friend. I began teaching myself HTML and CSS by looking at the code of other websites, and published my first website, discombobula.com, in 2007. I continued working to improve the website, and the competition between my friend and I continued for several more years. This friendly competition is what sparked my passion for web development that has lasted over 15 years.
When I'm not working, I enjoy playing games with friends, spending time with my dog Freya, and dabbling in various artistic hobbies - Perler bead art, digital art, and more.
